The Best Ways to combine Your TV & Radio Fingers!

TV & Radio are one of the biggest draws to a football match these days. So often I am a devoted supporter of my team, and even before the games begin, I tune into the local TV or listen to the radio. I feel a deep connection with both worlds, as though I’m not really all that different from them (despite the obvious differences in my profession). I’m not saying I would go out and break the bank to buy tickets for the local team if I was at home, but I do recognize the importance of being able to immerse yourself in the game – be it football, baseball, or rugby. Even if you’re not rooting for your local team, there’s something captivating about being able to listen to and watch the sport from another perspective.

So what makes radio so much fun? Well, first of all, most people have their radio stations turned on while they are driving, and as soon as they get stuck in traffic, turn on their TV. This immediately gives them a whole new world to immerse themselves in, especially if they’ve been away from home for the duration of the game. Then again, many people who have TVs at home don’t turn them on while they’re driving, so they don’t experience the full effect either.

I’ve always found TV to be much more entertaining. It seems to jumpstart my day and hold me in suspense until the very end, whether that’s because there’s a real story happening, or simply because there’s something interesting happening on TV at the time. I know I enjoy reading about things and watching documentaries and going online to find out what’s happening; these are just a few of the ways I prefer to consume entertainment. And while there’s nothing wrong with either of them, I’m sure there are other ways you might prefer to spend your time. So choose what you think suits you best!
